Charles "Charlie" Evans was marooned on the desolate planet Thasus while very young, the only survivor of a spaceship crash. He spent years there before the USS Antares discovered him. The Antares transfered Evans to the USS Enterprise so that he might be reunited with his only known relatives on Colony 5.

Raymart, is the commanding officer of the survey ship U.S.S. Antares, and he delivered Charlie to the Enterprise. He laster died with all hands after the Antares was destroyed.

Lieutenant Nellis, accompanied Captain Ramart to the Enterprise to drop off Charlie. He is later killed with the rest of the crew of the U.S.S. Antares.

The Thasian appeared as a translucent, floating Human face approximately one meter tall that wavered and rippled constantl. He appeared to the crew to take Charlie Even's back with him. He had noticed that Charlie was missing and soon found him.
