Kirk
found Ayelborne and the Council to be a study in conundrums.
One moment, they were most anxious to help him hide from the
Klingons, and the next, they were betraying him to them.
Still later, Ayelborne retrieved Kirk from a Klingon cell,
apparently bypassing the guards effortlessly. When the
Klingons, enraged by the escape, murdered two hundred
Organians, Ayelborne displayed little concern. Each time
Kirk confronted him, he gently told Kirk that he didn't
understand the Organians. Truer words were rarely spoken,
but Kirk did not know it yet.
Determined to harass the Klingons to the limits of their
ability, Kirk and Spock attempted to infiltrate the citadel.
They hoped to confront Kor, and inflict some sort of harm –
and at the moment they tried, Ayelborne and Claymare
appeared – and put a stop to it. Ayelborne then asked both
groups of visitors to leave; their propensity for violence
was deeply painful to the Organians. And then, he and
Claymare departed, revealing their true nature in the
process, as they dispersed into energy.

SPECIES: Klingon Male
Once the hostilities between the
two began to reach its climax, all ships suddenly
and mysteriously became paralyzed and all weapons
became superheated and temporarily rendered useless.
Unknown to both sides at the time, the Organians
were in fact an advanced non-corporeal species,
despite their primitive way of life. As quickly as
it started, the Organians effectively ended the
occupation, the war, and Kor's governorship. |

SPECIES: Organian Male
Once the Organians decided to
halt the Federation-Klingon War (2267), he and
Ayelborne visited Commander Kor and Captain Kirk in
the stronghold Kor had established on their planet.
They explained why the fleets were paralyzed, and
revealed the truth about the Organians – that they
were extremely advanced, extremely powerful
noncorporeal beings. Claymare, in revoking Organian
hospitality, revealed that the Organians found the
discordant emotions of their visitors painful. |

SPECIES: Organian Male
Trefayne was one member of the
Council of Elders during Kirk's visit to Organia in
2267. Described as "quite intuitive" by Council
spokesman Ayelborne, Trefayne knew that eight space
vehicles had assumed orbit around the planet before
Spock was able to verify this with his tricorder.
Additionally, he knew that these vehicles were
beaming men to the surface, and that these men
carried many weapons. Although Trefayne's
pronouncements, and Ayelborne's confidence in them,
provoked Kirk's curiosity, Kirk had more important
concerns, and never investigated. This was, although
he did not then realize it, Kirk's first clue that
there was more to the Organians than met the eye. |
